Peter Mayer’s “Stars &
Promises” tour stops in Somerville Dec. 11
Guitarist and songwriter
extraordinaire Peter Mayer, a long time member of Jimmy Buffet’s
Coral Reefer Band, returns to Somerville with his own band again
this year for a stop on his Stars & Promises 2009 tour, one night
only, Friday, Dec. 11 at United Reformed Church, 100 Main Street.
Mayer’s musical influences cut across
a broad spectrum, as reflected in the performance, a unique blend of
popular, inspirational and holiday music, an eclectic, creative
blend reflecting native American and Far Eastern influences.
A portion of the proceeds will be
