Did you know that a 15-cent gold fish can make hundreds, if not thousands of dollars for your business and be one of the most cost effective sales tools you can put to work for you?

Rocky Romeo, longtime independent marketing analyst who specializes in helping small businesses, will share his fish story and more at a breakfast hosted by the Somerville Business & Professional Association on Tuesday, March 23 at Scampi’s Restaurant 198 W. Main St. Somerville. The one-hour seminar begins at 8 a.m. and is open to the business community and public-at-large.

Romeo’s firm - Get Clients Guaranteed – is geared to do just that, whether you own a restaurant, art gallery, gift shop or private detective agency.

The breakfast meeting is an opportunity for small business owners to get a sampling of the smorgasbord of tips and strategies Romeo has to offer.

“My goal is to provide a lot of information quickly so that everyone leaves with a lot of practical information they can use as soon as they get back to their business that morning, whether retail or service,” Romeo said.

“It’s simple,” he added. “If I can show them I can really help them, perhaps they may consider my expertise and my services in the future on a one-on-one basis.”

Romeo, who has been giving advice and direction to companies big and small for more than 30 years, promises more clients, more business and a healthy bottom line. Services include advertising analysis, sales analysis, copywriting and collateral review, merchandising evaluation, targeted customer interviews, tactical marketing evaluation, strategic marketing evaluation, inbound sales analysis, outbound sales analysis, marketing plan creation, website evaluation, customer service training, workshops and an insider marketing newsletter.

There are a few things Romeo doesn’t do.

“I’m not the guy who’s going to make the phone calls or pass out flyers,” he joked. “And, we don’t do websites or computer programming, although I can tell you what works or doesn’t work on your website.

”What we will do,” he added, “is provide a good diagnosis of your business and offer inexpensive recommendations to turn your business around.”

Reservations are required for the breakfast, which is free to current SBPA members; admission for non-members is $5. Please call Scampi’s owner Bob Petix at (908) 685-1323 to reserve your seat.
